The SAFE project is rapidly expanding in terms of scientific collaborations, and also infrastructure and experimental areas. This naturally comes with an increase in media attention and recognition in the local communities, and global ecological sphere. Consequently, a 50 minute documentary called ‘Fragmented‘ had already been made about the SAFE project by two Science Communication students from Imperial College, so I wanted to make something a little more specific which wasn’t touched upon in that documentary.
